I build software for founders and small businesses, and I handle the whole thing myself: what to build, how it works, and the code that ships it. Here’s what that usually looks like.

iOS apps

A native app for iPhone and iPad, built the way Apple intends so it feels right at home on the device. I handle how it works, how it looks, the code, getting it live on the App Store, and the updates after launch.

This is a fit if you want a polished app your customers download and keep on their phone, with the quality people expect from the apps they use every day.

I built Sonato, a 5-star iOS app for private member clubs, with an Apple Wallet pass members tap to get through the door. I led the iOS app for the travel site Hipmunk, and built my own apps Little Memory and Ready Time from scratch. Apple has featured apps I’ve built, like the travel journal Bonjournal.

Web apps

Software that runs in a web browser, so anyone can use it from a laptop or phone without installing anything. This can be a product your customers sign up for or a tool your own team logs into.

This is a fit if you want something people open in a browser and use on any device.

I built mycharity: water, a fundraising platform that raised $500,000 in two months, and Sourcetable, a web app for working with data, as its first engineer. I also built the web side of my own diary app, Little Memory.

A first version of your idea

You have an idea but nothing built yet. I’ll turn it into a real, working first version you can put in front of customers, learn from, and build on. Done properly from the start, so it can grow into the real product later instead of being thrown away.

This is a fit if you’re starting from scratch and want to get your idea into the real world without spending a year and a fortune first.

I built my own apps Little Memory and Ready Time from nothing to the App Store.
