A specialty of mine
An app worthy of the membership.
Reservations, events, messaging, and the pass that opens the door, in an app carrying your club's name.
A private club is deliberate about everything its members touch: the rooms, the menus, the person at the door. The app in a member’s hand is part of the club now, and it deserves the same standard.
- Dining and stay reservations
- Events, RSVPs, and tickets
- Real-time messaging with the club
- Reciprocal and partner club visits
- An Apple Wallet pass at the door
Off-the-shelf club platforms exist, and for plenty of clubs one is the right call. Custom makes sense when the experience is the point: your brand in the member’s pocket, flows shaped around how your club actually runs, and the things no platform ships, like reciprocity across partner clubs or tap-to-enter at the door. Tell me how your club works and I’ll give you a straight answer about which you need.
This is the deepest niche I have. For four years I was the sole iOS developer for Sonato, the hospitality platform for private member clubs. I rebuilt its member app from scratch in SwiftUI and took it to a 5-star App Store rating, made it offline-first so it works for members mid-flight, and shipped Sonato Pass, the Apple Wallet pass members tap at their club’s front door.
Clubs run on discretion, and I work the same way: client work is confidential by default, and when a project calls for it I can run AI tooling on my own hardware so nothing leaves the building.
