Bebo
Bebo was one of the biggest social networks of its era, and AOL acquired it for $850 million in 2008. I was its Head of Mobile.
This was before the App Store existed. Reaching people on their phones meant the mobile web and text messages. I grew Bebo’s mobile site from zero to 4 million daily users, and built the SMS platform that let members post and stay in touch by text.
As head of mobile at Bebo, he was a key player in the rapid construction of a startup that would sell for nearly a billion. I would gladly welcome the opportunity to work with Ivan in the future and highly recommend him for the most demanding roles in the industry.
Ivan was instrumental in developing the mobile platform at Bebo. He is detail oriented, personable, self-motivated and hard working.
